Welcoming Division 31 to Ward 5

 Councillor Natalie Hart, in conjunction with Peel Regional Police, is proud to welcome the new 31 Division police station in Ward 5 that is now fully operational and open to the public — marking the first new Peel Regional Police division opened in more than 20 years.

This new full-service police facility represents a major investment in community safety and includes dedicated officers, modern facilities, and the resources needed to better respond to the needs of Ward 5’s growing communities and business areas.

The new division will help better serve residents and businesses in Malton while also allowing 12 Division to better support the Britannia area. The result will be improved response times, increased police visibility, and stronger relationships between officers, residents, and local businesses throughout Ward 5.

“When I first took office, I made community safety a top priority,” said Councillor Natalie Hart. “Residents and business owners consistently raised concerns around safety, response times, and the need for stronger community presence. After years of advocacy and collaboration, I’m proud to see this important investment now open and serving our community.”
